2009 SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SYEP)

The goal of the SYEP is to provide 3,000 low income youth throughout Fresno County with meaningful, paid, work experience. Participants will earn a paycheck for six weeks of work experience, at the minimum wage of $8.00 per hour, for 20 to 40 hours per week. The youth will also learn what it takes to succeed in the workforce, while developing basic job skills and building a resume.

This program runs from May 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009.

At this time, we are no longer taking youth applicants, the SYEP is at capacity.
