Our Rapid Response Team is here to help you.

For businesses at risk of closing their doors, the Rapid Response Team acts quickly to identify, troubleshoot, and provide critical resources needed to potentially avert disaster and assist employees facing layoffs.

Rapid Response provides economically challenged businesses pertinent and comprehensive information and services aimed at minimizing job losses. In the case of layoff or imminent closure, Rapid Response Team members are here to soften the blow. Working confidentially together with businesses and employees, team members routinely and successfully help dislocated workers transition to new jobs.


Working together with caring employers, the Rapid Response Team can be proactive in helping displaced employees land on their feet in the wake of a layoff or closure. Rapid Response services include:
  • Job search assistance and related workshops
  • State and federal job assistance information
  • Information about unemployment insurance
  • Assessment and retraining
  • Customized job fairs
  • Job matching
  • Other community resources referrals
  • Access to computers, telephones, copiers, and fax machines
