The Fresno Regional Workforce Investment Board (FRWIB) is responsible for providing oversight and policy direction for the utilization of Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funds in Fresno Area. The FRWIB is a business-led legislative body, appointed by the Fresno County Board of Supervisors. The FRWIB, whose composition is defined by the WIA, includes 42 individuals representing business, one-stop partners, community-based organizations, local education entities, economic development agencies, and labor.
